Limestone View Cottage adjoins our farmhouse and is built in traditional red brick with a slate roof.
Offering comfortable self-catering accommodation for up to 6 guests plus a cot in 2 bedrooms, you will get a real taste of life on a working farm.
The cottage is fully centrally heated with an open fire in the living room where you can burn logs or coal.
In front of the cottage is a secure, sunny garden ideal for you and your children to relax and take in the country air.

The cosy, comfortable living/dining room overlooks the enclosed garden.
From here, you can keep an eye on your children, safe in the knowledge that they won't be out of sight.
The traditional open fire will keep you warm and toasty on cold winter's evenings and we provide you with all the logs and coal you'll need. Don't forget, the whole cottage is centrally heated so you don't have to use the fire!
With a range of comfortable seating and a colour television with DVD player as well as plenty of books and games, the living room is a great place to relax if the weather is unfavourable.
We always have local information leaflets in the living room to help you plan your days and of course, you can always ask us about local attractions.
Centerpiece of the traditional farm cottage kitchen is the original range. At one time, this would have been the main cooker and water heater for the whole cottage. Luckily, there's now a modern electric cooker with 4 ring electric hob for you to cook your fresh farm eggs for breakfast!
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, a fridge, an automatic washing machine and a full range of pots, pans and cutlery.
There is permanent, instant hot water over the sink which looks out onto the back garden.
This bedroom is light and airy with a very comfortable double bed, beautiful pine furniture and views to the back of the farm.
There is also space for a cot should it be required.
Blankets and an electric blanket are provided to keep you toasty during the winter months.
If staying for a special occasion we can also arrange fresh flowers in the room, chocolates or a chilled bottle of bubbly!
Just ask when booking and we will be happy to arrange any extras.
The larger of the two double bedrooms, Bedroom 2 has far-reaching views over the garden and open fields.
With one double bed and one single bed, there is still enough room in here to add the cot or a full-size folding bed.
A dressing table and full-sized wardrobe give you ample space for your clothes and luggage.
Again, the window is double glazed and a central heating radiator will keep you warm on cold nights. We can also provide you with an electric blanket for the double bed.
The quiet, enclosed garden is at the front of the cottage and free for you to use whenever you like.
With a lovely mixture of full sun or dappled shade from the surrounding trees, you'll be comfortable however warm the summer days.
There's a lockable gate to keep your children secure and a garden furniture set with table and chairs.
Many of our guests with children also enjoy playing with the rabbits and guinea pigs which we let out onto the lawn.
If you enjoy barbecues, we have a full barbecue set in the shed behind the cottage which you can bring round to the garden at any time.
